Keshav Worathur | software engineer
Commercial ML research and product development is where I do my best work. I'm a proud alum of the University of Toronto (CS '25) and a current student at Georgia Tech, graduating in December.
Some things I've worked on:
- Built Python pre-processing pipelines that ingest 3,000+ protein structures for Gene2Lead, Ltd.'s drug discovery platform.
- Trained deep learning models to see and understand 3D data like a chemist, now deployed in production at Gene2Lead.
- Currently optimizing the cloud infrastructure and batch workflows powering Matmerize's flagship AI tools for polymer informatics.

ML Engineering @ Gene2Lead
Cutting-edge deep learning tools trusted by research labs and pharma giants for screening drug targets
- Pitched a user-friendly visualization tool developed with React, WebGL, and FastAPI for understanding proteomic data, which led to adoption by 8 Gene2Lead researchers and positive feedback on usability.
- Deployed protein feature extraction, training, inference and reporting pipelines on AWS Sagemaker to facilitate greater visibility into research project progress and data sharing.
